Hi Everyone , my official time was 5hrs 23 mins, just 5 mins slower than last year. I blame the weather and me taking it easy by walking almost a mile :-) The main thing is that I finished! Thank God..There is still a chance to sponsor me. A big thank you to all those who have donated .

God bless

Karen

Karen’s run will prove great therapy for others

A woman will be lacing her trainers to raise cash to help people receive affordable counselling therapy.
Karen Roach will run the London Marathon on Sunday, April 25 for the second year in a row. The 42-year-old, of The Hawthorns, Colnbrook, is hoping to raise £2,000 and beat her record last year of completing the race in five hours and 17 minutes.
She added : “No I am not crazy to run the marathon again. I want to do it because I want to help people receive affordable counselling therapy - especially with the credit crisis where families need help but might not get it because they don’t have the money.”
Cash raised will go to WPF Therapy which provides counselling and psychotherapy in . It founded CiC where she works as a counsellor.
WPF helps people with emotional, psychological, spiritual and relationship problems by seeking to provide high-quality affordable counselling and psychotherapy.
Just £25 funds an individual counselling session for somebody who cannot afford to pay the full amount.
£50 pays for a month of group therapy, £100 help towards funding the Low Cost Clinic and £250 covers the cost of an assessment consultation for a new client. And £500 fund a full 12 week course for a client on a low income. Log on www.justgiving.com/KarenRoachVLM2010 to donate.
