Story

Hi all

Firstly thank you for taking the time to get this far and read my page.

I am a devoted father of Rhiannon Hope and a keen outdoorsman all my life and as most of you know I always like a challenge and get bored very easily.

I have always aspired to do something I can remember for the rest of life and be proud of. I love children and love helping them in anyway I can, and realise how fortunate I am to have a wonderful fit and healthy 10 year old girl. I cannot imagine what it would be like to have a child that needed any kind of semi permenent or permenent medical attention but would like to become a small cog in that caring mechanism that The Sparkle Appeal is.

They are building their new flagship centre not 5 miles from our home in Newport, and it will care for needy children from all over Gwent. They are trying to raise £1.5 million to equip this purpose built centre which will be helping the 1200 children with complex disabilities in the South Gwent area.

The need for this centre is vital, as the current centre does not offer adequate 'space' and simply cannot cater for all the childrens diverse needs. The cost of equipping this new centre is £1.5 million. The Sparkle Appeal has embarked on a targeted fund raising campaign to equip this much needed building and this is now the place that you can help me to help them who help others.

Thank you all very much.

Karlos
