I am running the Bristol 10K for Radio Lollipop, a charity that provides support and smiles to children in hospital through the radio station, playroom and visits out on the wards in the Royal Bristol Children's Hospital. I have been a volunteer for the last 3 years so know the real difference the charity makes to children and families going through a difficult time.

I haven't done any running (and hardly any exercise!) since my school days so this really will be a challenge! I have been inspired by Eddie Izzard's incredible marathon efforts for Sport Relief recently and reckon if he can do over 40 marathons, I can surely do 10K!

Even if its just a pound, your donations will be really helpful in providing arts, crafts, games and presents for the children and will encourage me to get to the end of the course...
