The challenge involves 8 miles cross country.... worryingly there are ditches, streams and cargo nets to navigate (Kate will be completing the challenge wearing a swimming hat - just in case).

During any recession many of the first casualties are pets. When people are struggling for money or are losing their jobs, pets are sometimes an unnecessary luxury; as a consequence, places like the Mayhew Animal Home see an influx of animals needing their help.
