Story
To celebrate turning 40, (and, for me, in memory of my father), my lovely friend, Gemma, and I decided that it would be a great idea to climb Mount Kilimanjaro.
At 19,341 ft above sea level, Kilimanjaro
is the highest mountain in Africa, a dormant volcano and the highest free-standing mountain in the world. So naturally we decided it would be the perfect way to;
- raise money and support for charities close to our hearts.
- remember those who died too young,
- seriously challenge ourselves,
- inspire goal achievement in others.
This trip of a lifetime is now here - eek! - and all donations of pennies, pounds and Kendal Mint Cake will be very gratefully received! British Heart Foundation appreciates every tiny amount given - so please check down the back of your sofa and pop those pennies in too!
Thank you!! X
