We’re the UK’s leading charity for Crohn’s and Colitis. Right now, over 500,000 people in the UK are living with a lifelong disease that many people have never heard of. We’re working to improve diagnosis and treatment; to fund research and to raise awareness.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am going to be taking part in a tandem Skydive, crazy I hear you say but it is all for a good cause it is in support of the National Association of Colitis & Crohn's Disease.

Crohn's Disease effects approximately 60,000 people in the UK, thats about 1 in 1000. Research shows that the number of people with Crohn's Disease has been rising steadily, particularly among young people.  The most common age group for diagnosis is  between 15 and 25. Unfortunately the cause has not yet been identified nor has the cure. Therefore the NACC need as much support and funding as possible to prevent and cure the cause of Crohn's Disease, so I ask you kindly to dig deep and donate now

Many thanks
