Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Following on from Isla & Charlotte's great effort at the Edinburgh Junior Winter Run, a group of us are running at the Glentress trail runs on 25th February, raising money and awareness of the charity Free to Run.

Free to Run supports women in countries where women don't have the freedom we take for granted to run, to be active, and participate in sport. This is the first time that Free to Run has a profile in Scotland. We want to help them provide safe spaces for running, fitness and outdoor adventure - all things that we love doing, because we have the good fortune to experience a full and free life without restriction.  The charity helps people living in conflict areas, and those who have been forced to flee and live as refugees away from their home countries.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

Free to Run drives change in community gender norms in conflict areas, by supporting adolescent girls & young women to advance their leadership and wellness through running.
