My beautiful mummy passed away 19th Jan 2011, after nearly 8 years of fighting that horrible disease.  My mummy never moaned and if you didn't know her you wouldn't know what a hard life she had, she always looked glamorous and had the best shoes on and the biggest smile on her face - she'd light up any room.  I'd like to make her proud and in honour of her run the 10k Bupa Manchester Run to raise awareness and as much money as possible for Genesis.  Please make donations whether it's 10p or £10, every little helps.  I am also getting sponsorship in cash so you can chose how you wish to donate.
