Hi everyone,

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

From the 25th January - 22nd April I will be going to volunteer on a water and sanitation project in rural Tanzania. I will be leading a team of 14 volunteers both from the UK and Tanzania. The project will focus on raising awareness of community health issues, action research and peer education.

We will be living and working with very basic conditions so I'm sure it will be a challenge for all the team! I am passionate about the work that is done through the International Citizen Service programme, from previously participating in the programme as a volunteer in Zambia I have seen first hand the positive impact the programme has globally.

If you are able to support me in my fundraising either through a donation or helping out in any way I would be massively grateful - just to let you know all the money raised contributes to the projects running overseas and not to pay for my flights,visas etc as the programme is fully funded by the Department for International Development. 

I will keep you updated with my fundraising efforts on this page and through a blog while I am in Tanzania.
