We fund research into SMA to help find a cure and treatments

Story

Last year I ran the Great South Run for the first time and loved it! The crowd were incredible and it was fantastic to run for such a great cause.

This year I'm running it again, but in aid of the SMA Trust. A family friend of our's lost a granddaughter to this tragic illness and as I have learnt more about it, the more I feel the need to do something. SMA is the number 1 genetic killer of children under 2 years old in the UK. It is a progressive muscle wasting disease that affects 1 in every 6,000 births.

No one should have to lose a child, and this money will go towards life saving research, treatment and support for families.

Please donate what you can!
