I have decided to do this for very personal reasons.  I work as an LSA with Nikki and have seen at first hand what an amazing character she has.  I have also seen the impact on her family and the struggles they go through together.  

Nikki's treatment is not available in the NHS so she and her mother have been travelling too and from the U.S.A regularly for weeks at a time,  leaving her father and her older brother and sister at home.  I am raising funds to help to pay for this ongoing private treatment.

This illness has no cure.  

Unless the research the charity they started finds a cure, they will be living with AVM and having to continue to try and find ways to fund Nikki's treatment.
