I have foolishly decided that I will cycle from Lands End to Derby. I know tradition dictates that you go to John O'Groats. But first - do you know how far that is??? Second, I've only got 3 days off work...

We will ride the approximate 335 miles in 3 or 4 days and I hope to raise as much as possible for the Prospect Hospice. The Prospect Hospice run a dedicated centre for end of life services and are based in the village of Wroughton near Swindon. They offer respite, in and out patient care for those with critical illnesses in and around north east Wiltshire.

I would really appreciate any amount that you can give towards this cause. I have hidden the amount that individuals have donated so that people don't feel obliged to match a certain level of donation. EVERY donation is welcome.

The reason for the short notice is because I wanted to test my fitness riding from Bath to London before committing to this crazy idea! Having completed that ride without actually killing myself I have no excuses and will be setting off early next Thursday morning, wish us luck!
