On the 20^th November I will be taking part in a charity fundraiser called I’m A Princess Get Me Out of Here. Two teams of nine girls have put themselves forward to take part in this two day Army Boot camp. The teams will go against each other and take part in activities that include army obstacle course, Zip Wire, Camouflage & Concealment, Paint Ball and midnight forest hunts finally sleeping in army barracks.

Why am I doing this?

One Can Make a Difference is a fundraising project of Action Duchenne (registered charity no.1101971). One Can Make a Difference (OCMAD) was formed in 2007 by Tracy & Tony Levene following the diagnosis of their son Joey, who was 18 months old at the time. Duchenne is a progressive terminal muscle wasting condition. Duchenne is the biggest genetic killer in the .

There is currently no cure or viable treatment but there is HOPE. Hope lies in research and medical science. Action Duchene and OCMAD continue to fund research and with your support progress towards finding a treatment and cure can and will become an exciting reality.

Joey is now 5 years old and research has advanced in the last 3 years, there are trials finally happening but this really is a race against time, currently all research and trials in development can only possibly halt the wasting. Everyday that goes by the damage is getting worse; Joey cannot climb up the stairs or into the car. To most Joey appears to be like any other 5 year old, but if you look close or could see inside, his muscles are wasting away.

Every penny raised by OCMAD goes to making a difference for everybody living with Duchenne.

Each girl participating has to raise as much as possible for this amazing and very close to our heart cause and I would be so grateful for any support.
