Story
I have been fortunate in my life to be inspired by one of my oldest and dearest friends Kristian Digby. He taught me I could do whatever I put my mind to and that I could face my dyslexia and feel proud of myself and that I did not have to be judged or discriminated against. He also taught me about the beauty of nature, how to have fun and the value of friendship.
Kristian died on the 1st March at the age of 32. He spent his life inspiring others, especially in his charity work. In Kristian’s name and memory I’m running the British 10K on 11th July to raise money for the charity that Kristian was a patron of, the Albert Kennedy Trust. In my small way and with your help Kristian can continue to inspire to young people that the Albert Kennedy Trust helps every day so that they, like me, can know that there are people to help them be the people they are, without fear of judgement or discrimination and to celebrate who they are.The Albert Kennedy Trust’s mission is to ensure that all lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans young people are able to live in accepting, supportive and caring homes, by providing a range of services to meet the individual needs of those who would otherwise be homeless or living in a hostile environment. http://www.akt.org.uk
Please sponsor me to help them to continue the great work that they do.
