Story

Hi Everyone,

This Year I'm raising money for a cause very close to my heart, those of you that know me well know that my Daughter Katie had Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, with that comes another condition called Autonomic Dysfunction which affects everything from heart rate, respiration and a multitude of other symptoms.... Ehlers Danlos Support Group are a fantastic Group that provide day to day support for sufferers and their families, The pain that people with EDS live with is life changing and debilitating and can be life threatening. EDS Support Group also help medical professionals to understand this rare illness. The information that is provided helps patients with EDS access the right treatments and be given the right assistance in emergency rooms. The support EDS Support Group have given my family has been amazing.

My very good friend Clare Stokes has agreed to help me in my fund raising efforts as she understands the struggles faced by EDS and she also is extremely brave as she has never been on a plane, I thank her for helping me.

I decided on doing a parachute jump because as most of my friends know, I hate planes and i hate heights so it then becomes a personal challenge for me to overcome........which is what people with EDS have to do every single day of their Lives.......

Our Jump date was changes from March 4th because of the heavy rain, we are now jumping today!
