Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. Myself & Graham were hoping to raise some money for the Scottish Association for children with heart disorders (SACHD) .

 On 17.12.20 we welcomed our daughter Lara Jessica McBurney into our lives but sadly she passed away just 18 days later on 04.01.21. 

When Lara was born we brought her home and she stayed with us for a week. On Boxing day we had a few concerns about her breathing & colour so we called an ambulance & had her taken into the hospital.

It quickly became clear that our Little Lara had problems with her heart so she was blue lighted to Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow where she stayed in ICU fighting for her life for 9 days. 

Lara sadly had several major complications with her heart in the end and unfortunately the fight became too much for her. 

We have decided we would love to raise some funds in her memory. We have chosen the SACHD as it’s a charity that works hard to help children & young adults with congenital heart disorders & their families.
