Event: Laureus London to Paris ride 2009, on 24 September 2009
We use sport to change childrens lives for the long term

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am taking part in a charity bike ride from London to Paris.  The three day ride will take me through the beautiful English countryside, across the channel and once in France, via stunning vineyards and picturesque French villages, before arriving, as the Tour de France winners do, for a celebratory finish at the Arc de Triomphehe. The total distance is 226 miles.

The ride is in aid of The Laureus Sport for Good Foundation which uses a worldwide programme of sports-related projects to bring together children and young adults around the world and to address social issues such as gang and knife crime, depression and HIV/AIDs.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

About the charity
