As you know Ken suffered from polio as a child. He overcame the disease and lived a normal life. 

Thank you to all those who came to the funeral on Friday 3rd September or who sent messages. Ken would have been humbled to know so many people came to give him a send off. 

We have been thrilled to see how much money this page has raised and so huge thanks to those who have already done so. If anyone else would like to donate, we would be grateful for any donation, however small. 

We are raising money for British Polio Fellowship. Ken made a donation to them every year. They support polio survivors to cope with the effects of Post Polio Syndrome - this is a condition which causes the physical effects of polio to return later in life.
