On the 7th October this year Josh Llewellyn-Jones the founder of CF Warriors started his journey for his Ultra Triathlon here with us at Dover District Leisure Centre  swimming 21 miles ( The English Channel) in our main pool.... Josh then went straight on to a 200 miles cycle is some terrible weather through the night and headed up to St. James palace before he then ran 160 miles ( that's 6 marathons back to back ) back home to Cardiff in Wales where he llives. Josh did this in 5 days with no sleep , Josh himself has cystic fibrosis and his parents were given a 10% chance of him surviving his 1st night..... growing up Josh was told he wouldn't make his 30's..... Josh is now 32 and an endurance athlete🙌......Josh is an inspiration to so many people including myself and many others at the centre ..... CF Warriors is a charity that helps children all over the world get involved in sport to help with there condition.... amazing....... We will be holding many different events on Sunday 15th December swimming,  cycling,  running , climbing and dancing . There will also be a raffle and other things on the day to raise as much money and awareness as we can 🤞💛🖤❤
