As most of you will know the last few years have been a real test for Carl and myself and we relied heavily on the help and support of many specialists and consultants. Now its my turn to give something back and I'm hoping that by raising some money will help someone somewhere...

Cancer has affected my family recently with the passing of my grandad Pat who was a life long Hammers fan, and also some dear friends of the family that sadly lost their fights against cancer.

A colleague has recently been diagnosed with bowel cancer too so I wish him all the best with his treatment and I do this for him also. Stay strong Tom x

So here's to those that we have loved and lost, wish me luck guys and girls looking down on me... And make sure that rope stays strong for me.. And on the way down I'll say a big "Up The Hammers" for you grandad x

2 years ago if you had asked me to dangle myself from a rope from a great height I would have told you to do one... But now not only do I want to test myself to the limits, I also want to be there for others... So, the 26th April is the day and I will be petrified so please help me raise some money for this great cause which will in turn give me the inner strength to dangle... :-)
