Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit David Goldie's JustGiving page.

David Goldie's close friend Chris Binns of over 60 years passed away in July  from Motor Neurone Disease. Chris was a most gentle, loyal, and openhearted man, who was a very loving and caring husband, Dad, and Granddad, and his loss is deeply felt by his family and friends.

He was a committed, and highly respected member at Bingley Airedale Rotary Club.

So Kevin Wharton, and I from Skipton Rotary Club are cycling to the Rotary District Conference in Scarborough on October 16th in memory of Chris to raise funds for The Bradford Marie Curie Hospice where Chris was supported during the year of his devastating illness.
This is a distance of around 100 miles on minor roads, at a time of year when there  are only 10 hours of light per day!

This Hospice supports all MND sufferer`s in our area, which is in need of more equipment to help ease the devastating affect MND has on how you walk, talk, eat, drink, and breathe.
