We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Two of us are cycling the 500+ miles from the extreme south to extreme north tip of Ireland from 28th April to 5th May. i want to support Cancer Research UK in memory of my Mum and Dad who both died from cancer a few years ago. I owe it to them and a 'thank you' for the care they received from cancer care workers during their final months. David is raising money in memory of Pearl, his wife, who died from cancer last year.  My employer, Network Rail have kindly agreed to match your donations pound for pound. Thank you to them! (A £10 donation, if you are a taxpayer is worth £22.80 to Cancer Research)   Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. it is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cancer Research UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!                                                                                            Many thanks for your support.
