We will do whatever it takes to help you live life as fully as you can

Story

Last year our friend Emma Gardner sadly lost her brief battle with breast cancer at the very young age of 33. She leaves behind a husband and two small children, Anabelle aged 4 and Alice aged 1.

This August Bank Holiday I and the rest of her close friends are to embark on the Three Peak Challenge, something Emma wanted to do to raise money for Macmillan who gave her lots of support from her diagnosis in March last year to when she passed away in October.

The Three Peak Challenge involves climbing the three tallest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales, starting with Ben Nevis, Scarfell Pike
and Mount Snowden, all in just 24 hours. We will be starting at 5pm on 26th August with the aim to complete Snowden by 5pm on the 27th August.

This is going to be no easy task and we have all been training hard over the past few months to make sure we're fit enough to take it on and finish within the 24 hour mark.

Being diagnosed with cancer is a huge shock to anyone and can affect people, their family and friends in different ways. Macmillan are there to support people and their families throughout this period and help them regain control of their lives. They are a charity reliant on people doing fundraising events so please give generously!
