Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We are climbing Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain and the highest free-standing mountain in the world - a 6 day / 5 night climb via the Machame Route to 5895 metres/19340 feet. As we are lucky enough to be doing this for fun (?) and the challenge (!) we also want to take the opportunity to raise awareness for a good cause.
We'd therefore like to combine our climb/trip and raise money for a charity called Malaria No More UK. A £5 donation to Malaria No More UK is enough to buy and deliver a life saving net providing protection for a family for up to 5 years. Malaria No More UK is part of a global effort to put an end to the suffering and death caused by malaria. Malaria is particularly devastating in Africa, killing a child every 30 seconds.
