Fundraising for Wessex Cancer Support
Story
I have worked with WCT for over 10yrs & know that this charity works so hard to support Island & South of England cancer patients & their families.
We supply the Daisy Bus taking Island patients to & fro to Mainland hospitals - which I've been told by numerous customers at the shop that this was an absolute Godsend at a time of anxiety & exhaustion - providing a friendly face (our drivers) & some company with folks facing similar circumstances.
Hub of support - our Drop-in Centres provide all sorts of counselling, therapies & advice.
To fund this we have several retail outlets & yearly events that take place etc - obviously this has taken a battering in the current climate.
Reason Im doing this - I basically need a challenge & Wessex need funds!!
Maybe I have lockdown syndrome lol where people r needing to do crazy things to shake it off x I'm quite happy for Wessex to use my moment of madness to raise awareness & funds x
