At 56, my Dad is under the current screening age for bowel cancer and as such required emergency surgery.

I have decided to complete 3 Half Marathons in the next 3 months - Tavistock 15th April, Great West Run Exeter 6th May and the Torbay Half on 24th June to help raise funds for a charity so dear to my heart.

I am paying all registration fees myself so all monies raised will go direct to Beating Bowel Cancer to help them raise awareness of the symptoms and promote early diagnosis of the condition so that more lives can be saved.
