On the 29th of August I, along with a team of approx 20 Rolls Royce employees, will be taking on the Caledonian Challenge which is a 54 mile walk in 24 hours - it's tough, but achieveable - 2 marathons back to back, a vertical elevation equivalent to climbing Ben Nevis, twice.

We are taking on this challenge to raise funds for the Beatson Cancer Charity which, as some of you will know, is a charity very close to my heart. The Beatson Cancer Charity are committed to the fight against cancer in a wide variety of ways - from patient wellbeing to the funding of treatment, care and research and are aiming to be acknowledged as one of the world’s leading cancer centres.

I am extremely grateful for your support and for any donation you can spare - I know it will make a real difference.
