I’m running 100km in August for the NUH they have a few different areas in the charity such as Zephyr’s Nottingham Appeal, baby MRI appeal, cancer care appeal but the one that is close to mine and my family is the Hayward house who helped us in gaining access to the SWAN end of life care.

Swan offers dedicated support to patients in their last days of life and to their families into bereavement and beyond, offering choice and enabling staff to think outside of the box when delivering end of life care to cater to individual’s needs. They help any age patient from children to the elderly. 

They helped us feel as if nothing was too much and made my nana as comfortable as she could possible be when she needed it. 

SWAN is the next step that takes us above and beyond what we currently deliver; it goes that extra mile.
