Story

I've done it !!!! I have completed the Marathon 2010

I have finished my marathon. Due to my injury (my right bump muscle is still sore from the fall in Silverstone half marathon – I was pushed down to the floor by another runner due to too many people and too many tight turns), I was only able to finish 5 hours and 1 minute but I am so glad to have raised more than 4,000 pounds for the Business & Human Rights Resource Centre charity and that was why i cracked on. Right, Ibuprofen on my dinner menu!!

Lord Joel Joffe has pledged to match up to £12,500 in donations.  Lord Joffe was Nelson Mandela’s defence counsel in the 1963 Rivonia trial; he emigrated to the and became Director of Allied Dunbar Life Assurance, and Chair of Oxfam .
