Story
So, yesterday, I finally jumped out of an aeroplane at 15,000ft and rocketed for 1 minute at 120mph towards the ground, when I was jerked upwards by the parachute and then spent 5 minutes gracefully falling to the ground, through a cloud. The most incredibly amazing and surreal 6 minutes ever! THANK YOU ALL FOR MAKING IT POSSIBLE. You are lovely, generous, gorgeous friends xx
Hi everyone. Well it seems the British weather has won and I will NOT be jumping today. Boo
Hi all! Well, after a blip at the start of the week (my doctor decided I wasn't fit to jump?!) I am back on course after some gentle arm twisting!! Thank you ALL for your generosity. With online, and offline sponsors, I am close to £1,000!!! x
Thank you SO much to all of you lovely people who have been so generous, donating towards my jump. I am nearing the £1,000 mark with on and offline donations, so thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! x
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On September 7th 2014 I am planning to jump out of an aeroplane at Dunkeswell Airfield to raise money for the MS Society.
I am going to jump with the Rotary Club of Babbacombe and St Marychurch in aid of the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Their pledge during the club's 50th year is to bring together 50 Rotarians and friends of Rotary to aid a giant leap in research into this devastating condition. And as the MS Society's motto says; 'we are stronger together'.
I was diagnosed with the condition in 2009, just 5 weeks after my son was born. The following 6 months were very daunting as I came to terms with what the disease meant, but in the last 5 years I have been very lucky, in that the condition has progressed very mildly.
I am about to embark on the next stage of MS journey by starting my first course of drugs, and to mark the start of this new chapter I thought I would raise awareness by jumping out of a plane!!
Please help me to reach my goal by donating to this very worthy cause. Thanks guys!!!!!!
