College Hill Foundation partners with more than 40 community agencies, volunteer groups, and the community supporters, and residents themselves to implement its programs. A Recognized Service Organization of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS), College Hill Foundation focuses on home repair maintenance, foreclosure prevention, neighborhood revitalization, and recreational programs that have shown to reduce local drug and criminal activities while improving community attractiveness and quality of life for all 1,820 residents. CHF's efforts to improve housing, landscape, sidewalks, and street lighting, has helped to reduce crime by 40% over the last five years, and has directly contributed to the sale and repair of 180 owner-occupied homes; the construction and sale of nine new homes; and the installation of 12 monitored surveillance cameras. College Hill Foundation, partnering with other contributing community-based organizations, has invested nearly $4.5 million in St. Louis.
