Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Having morphed my body with a significant weight loss, and moved 5000 miles with my family, a physical challenge was the next step (literally) in my change of lifestyle plan.  Embracing the walk culture of Great Britian, discovering the surrounding area of my new home Henley, meeting new people, and helping others "The Thames Path Challenge" was it!

Walking for Arthritis Research UK was inspired by Angela Botha organizer of Team Physiolistic.  Unknown to me Arthritis can effect people of all ages as it has Angela and can have a huge impact on their lives.  Arthritis Reasearch UK helps to take the pain away and help people remain active and doing the things they love like going out for a walk.

Last week end I successfully completed this challenge!  Despite the rain and a few blisters I loved my 14 hours spent on the Thames Path Walking from Putney (London) to Runnymede (near Winsdor).  Then another few hours on a very sunny Sunday for the 10 KM Family walk where Brian, Ben, Nick, and Marin joined me.

Any support would be greatfully received.
