<p><em>I would like to make people aware of ALOPECIA AREATA and how this terrible auto immune disease can devaste a persons life. It causes patchy hairloss and can sometimes progress to complete hairloss. My beautiful daughter Amy who has just turned 11 has been suffering from this awful condition for nine months now. It is progressing quite fiercly and now that Amy has lost about 1/4 of her hair it is becoming difficult to disguise. However, she is trying her best to be brave and strong for which we are very proud. </em></p> <p><em>Amy and I are planning a sponsored event in the new year to raise money for vital research into this cruel condition.
