Hello, thankyou so much for visiting my just giving page

In the summer of 2011, I will be embarking on a 4 week expedition to Kenya with a charity called Camps International.

Whilst in Kenya my friends and I will be working with local communities to help them build a better life for themselves and provide them with things to do this, these things include :
- Buliding classrooms and schools
- Cleaning the beaches
- Building child care centres
-  Improving local water supplies 

I cannot wait to meet the people, get used to Kenyan culture, learn from them, and help them to improve the quality of their lives.

Also whilst in Kenya we will be focusing on the Wildlife and the enviroment. We  will help to tackle environmental issues and take part in projects covering things such as:

- Conservation Projects
- Animal habitat mangement
- Reducing deforestisation
- Tacking pollution
- Awareness of the negative impact of animal hunting

I'm so excited to think I can help make a difference to third world countries and help those less fortunate than myself. I am already making progress on raising funds for my expedition these include:
- Doing car boot sales
- Doing odd jobs around people's homes and gardens
- Making people aware of my expedition
- Sponsored events

Unforunatley expeditions as exciting require significant funding, so I would greatly appreciate any dontations towards the cost, to help me make a difference to our world.
