I'm fund-raising for my 12 month volunteer work based trip to the island of Viti Levu, Fiji. I'm travelling with a not-for-profit charity organisation called Lattitude. Lattitude is such a good organisation, they only put volunteers in developing communities where we can really contribute.
I will be put in a remote village doing community work, specifically- assisting in an orphanage and working with organisations such as Red Cross. These places depend on volunteers that Lattitude send out to help make a difference any way they can.

I need to raise £5000 in total! This money will cover my initial placement fee (£2275) and will also cover the costs of my flights, medical bills, health insurance, kit for travelling etc.
Not only will I be relying on my part-time job, but with the help from my friends I will be holding fund-raising events. Here are a few:
- A live music night in the community centre with local bands performing.
- A talent show at my highschool.
- And as you can see, a group skydive.
