<p>On 17 April 2011 I will be running the Virgin London Marathon for Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) in memory of my beautiful daughter Katie who sadly passed away on 26th August 2010 age 13 years.</p> <p>Katie was born on 1st May 1997 and was later diagnosed by doctors at GOSH as having a rare genetic disorder.&nbsp; As a result of this condition Katie had severe learning difficulties as well as medical problems.&nbsp; During her lifetime&nbsp;Katie and I were regular visitors to GOSH for check-ups and operations.&nbsp;</p> <p>Please help me to help GOSH buy vital, life-saving equipment and fund pioneering research to find cures and treatments to give children everywhere a brighter future.&nbsp; Thank you x</p>
