Story
In December Paul dragged me on to a 66m Power Tower - Once we got to the top I held his hand so tightly & cried! - I can STILL hear him laughing now! I'm facing a serious challenge and would love the support because well let’s face it 66m against a 14'000 ft Skydive - I might just need it! This is so close to my heart and will be so emotional but I’m hoping I won't have chance to be scared, I know Paul will be holding my hand and laughing at me all the way. He always gave 110% in everything he did so I plan on (fingers crossed) doing him proud!
I never in a million years thought I’d be typing this out, I love Paul with all my heart, somehow just like a lot of other people I have to accept that my life & future without him will never be the same again but knowing we are doing this in his memory and for such an amazing charity so close to his very own heart makes it something to look forward to. - Thanks in advance for taking part in this worthy cause for an amazing Boyfriend, Son, Brother, Friend & over all person! Give Pounds for Paul! - The SkyDive is taking place on the 4th September 2010, Pictures & Video clips will be uploaded for you all to see. Let's remember who this is for and what this is all about.
Air Ambulance:
Flying seven days a week, 365 days a year our vital life saving service covers 5,500 square miles and a residential population of seven million people yet they receive no central government or lottery funding. It costs nearly £4 million per year to maintain both aircraft, all of which is generously donated by members of the public.
The varied terrain of the North West region includes vast amounts of remote and rural land, housing many sparsely populated communities as well as being home to some of the busiest motorway infrastructure and two of the countries largest cities. The fast response provided by the North West Air Ambulance means patients involved in major trauma, especially with head or spinal injuries, can receive medical treatment quickly before being transferred to a specialist hospital in record time. - At some point in our lives we will all know or have heard of someone who's life has be saved thanks to the NWAA.
Anyway, donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
