Fundraising for Prevent Breast Cancer
Story
I'm doing a walk with
Ladies Circle on Friday 25th September in a decorated bra worn over our clothes and a pink tutu (thankfully, other clothes will be worn also!)
We are walking to help raise money for the Genesis Appeal, a charity which specialises in the prevention of breast cancer. As far as I am aware it is the only one in this country to do so.
We will walk en masse from the Hilton Hotel, to the Pleasure Beach and back again. Not sure how many circlers there will be doing it, but sure we'll fit right in walking along the promenade in Blackpool!!!Then there are a brave few who will be riding the Big One, our time slot being 6 o'clock ... think the National President is hoping to set a record; something to do with the most women riding the Big One wearing their well-fitting bras on show to all!
