Thanks very much for taking the time to visit my page. 

For those of you that know me you'll know that for the past 20 years I have been the proud owner of one fine beard. This beard has been with me through thick and thin and has supported me though every decision I have had to make.

Those that also know my family will also be fully aware that my beautiful daughter Beau was born with a cleft lip, Fortunately for us we were put intouch with Clapa who have been there for us before the birth and are there for both us and Beau as she grows up.

I have become very aware just how much everyone judges people by the way they look, there physical appearance and there way they talk. I hope to help challenge this and help people change.

In the past two weeks I have had many a strange stares thrown my way (well more the usual), as I work hard to grow this mammouth facial statement, maybe its the odd cornflake embedded inside my beard, or the long strange hairs protruding at weird angles to my face, or just the fact that my beard is 5 times as long as my head hair. All this has made me want to do this more.

So next weekend "I'm Having it Off", every last hair, not sure what I'm going to find beneath there, but it will be worth finding out.

My company Let Us Create is currently working with Clapa and together we hope to raise awareness of the condition and educate the wider public of this condition.
