Fundraising for Action Duchenne
Story
On the 30th of October 2010 a team of runners will be raising money for a great charity, Action Duchenne.
My close friend Vicki Palfreyman's child, Korben, suffers from Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy. In the past she has raised a lot of money for the charity and I would like to add to her good work. There is more information here on the condition: http://www.actionduchenne.org/
It is our aim to celebrate being active, healthy and happy with a challenging 5K race while raising some money along the way. The run is an early one (815am) but the route is fairly flat, so we may even come out with a 5K personal best time!
I hope our friends, families and colleagues can get behind us to reach our modest total.
