Story

September 2009; My name is Leila Herandi and I am 15 years old. I have recently been diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma (a type of cancer) and I am being treated with chemotherapy. As my hair will soon fall out, I have decided to shave it all off for charity (and I have a LOT of hair!). The charity is called The Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign and is raising money to build a unit for teenagers with cancer. Any donation, big or small, will be greatly appreciated!

February 2010; Thank you for all the donations, together we have helped The Marsden a LOT! I have finished my treatment now and just a few days ago I was given the "All-Clear"... no more cancer! Now I'm just trying to get back to normal life, as best I can :) My hair is growing back and I hope  that it gets nice and curly like it was before! Again, thank you all so much.
