I'm 40 Years Old and The Chef Patron of The Bugle Inn, Twyford, Winchester. After the passing of our dear friend Dr Richard Percival (Percy) in 2013 our whole village felt compelled to do something good for others. So we set up the Charity Percys Pals with Southampton Hospital. Percy was in Southampton hospital after a skiing fall in February 2013.

Percy was a true gentleman and as caring a doctor as you could ever meet. He was hugely popular in our village, a great friend and an amazing dad & husband. 

I am not a natural cyclist at all, infact doing Lands End to John'o'Groats (LEJOG) is still quite daunting. My training started last year and now consists of over 120 miles per week and will continue to increase in the coming months.

My Pub, The Bugle Inn, has hosted many Percys Pals events over the last year and the whole community is behind raising £250k for a portable scanner that will help so many in the south of England. In short, if you or someone you know has a stroke or brain injury in the south then it is extremley likely this peice of equipement will be used to give surgeons a very accurate picture in real time. Instead of being transported 20 minutes to a dedicated room the other side of the hospital.

I've dedicated myself to acheiving my goals for the charity, i have even given up Golf to do so. Every donation however big or small is greatfully received. Tmes are hard at present and i understand making ends meet can be challenging, what ever you donate will be enough.
