Hi!

 

Just want to let you know that I finished the run in 71mins. Very pleased as I managed to run the whole thing - start to finish!

 

At the end we walked through the Stadium of Light right next to where some of my dad's ashes are buried. Perfect finish!

As you may know, my dad had leukaemia and was diagnosed in 1991. He received alot of treatment and a massive amount of support from the RVI (Newcastle) over the years - in particular from Prof Proctor and his team. Dad wanted to give something back so supported the charity NEPAC who (among other things) raise money for the RVI for cancer research. Therefore I'm doing this run in his memory and donating whatever I raise to NEPAC - so thank you very much for your support! It's greatly appreciated!
