I'm raising money for the Alzheimer's society who provide information and support for people with all types of dementia,their families and their carers.

Alzheimer’s Society supports people to live well with dementia today and funds research to find a cure for tomorrow.  They fund research into the cause, cure and care of dementia.

My Dad passed away in December 2013 - he was 69. But I felt like I'd lost him a long time before. He was diagnosed with Alzheimer's 7 years ago - we have watched him gradually deteriorate all these years until he could not speak and did not recognise any of his family and friends. Dad was not the same man, Dad had gone.  It has been a long hard struggle for all of my family and it has broken our hearts.
