We bring education to forgotten children

Story

Dear friends and family

I am going to CYCLE from Central London to the in in three days to raise money for Children in Crisis, a charity which helps improve the lives of children affected by poverty, conflict, disease and deprivation (more info below). The adventure begins on 11 June 2010 at the crack of dawn!

The plan: 300 kilometers, three days, one bike- and NO shortcuts!

Please help me raise £1,200. This is a big amount of money to raise, but any contribution you could make would be invaluable. Your contribution would help initiatives such as teacher training, literacy and health classes for women and better access to education for young girls in parts of the world most in need.

Joanna

We work in some of the world's poorest places, where people suffer the effects of conflicts beyond their control. We are specialists in supporting communities that are remote, difficult to get to and difficult to work in. Put simply, we help children in places other charities just don't go.
