We help veterans and their families to live the life they deserve after service

Story

We are Josh Lewsey MBE and Major Keith Reesby AAC, and our plan is to undertake the ultimate challenge in attempting to summit Mount Everest in May 2010 for Help for Heroes and 50% of the fundraising will go to the charity Combat Stress. We are following George Mallory's route up the North Ridge (hopefully not with the same result!) and hope to summit within the 73 days we are due to have on the mountain.

The Armed Forces are very close to our hearts as we met whilst at Sandhurst in 2000, and Keith is still serving in the Army Air Corps, having returned back from Afghanistan in January. Having seen the requirement for care and support to injured servicemen and women first hand when Keith was wounded in Iraq in 2004, we hope to help raise money for the increasing number of service personnel and their families whose lives have been changed permanently as a result of their duties.
