Story
Hi everyone!
This summer I will be travelling to Tanzania with Act 4 Africa. This is a charity expedition which involves community youth work, based on Performing arts workshops, providing education on HIV and AIDS prevention. I will be there from 18th August 2010 to 8th September 2010.
About the charity - Act4Africa is a health education charity which trains and funds local African teams to deliver innovative HIV/AIDS prevention training. To date its health education programmes have reached over 750,000 young people in Africa. If you would like to read more about them please visit their website at www.act4africa.org.
In order to fund the work I am aiming to raise around £400. I would be grateful for any donations (no matter how small) towards this trip. These contributions will go towards the running of the expedition and provide all training, equipment, accommodation and other costs necessary for an expedition such as this (I have a full breakdown of where the money will be used which can be provided if needed).
I am very proud to be working for such a worthwhile charity and very excited about the opportunity they have given me. I will of course tell you all about it when I get back (whether you like it or not!!)
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
