After much time discussing our trek my friends Lorna, kim and I are finally off to climb Kilimanjaro on February 12th 2010.  We fly out on the 12th and start the trek up Africa's highest free standing mountain, 5895m, on the 14th - some valentines day!  The trek takes 5 days and will be very cold and uncomfortable, I am however, ensured that it will be a rewarding life changing experience!  I'll let you know!
