Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As you may know I am 'persuaded' by my wonderful trustees to do a challenge once every two years to raise funds for the powerful and life changing work of Link to Hope.  So this time I am cycling across not only Moldova but the Ukraine as well (as far as Odessa anyway)  The distance is some 207 miles/333km's and the dates are the 17th - 25th May 2014.

The funds will be going to support the work amongst the poorest and most marginalised people in Eastern Europe.  In particular their work in education and social care.  Link to Hope helps provide:-

Kindergartens for children living in shanty towns

Meals for the elderly and isolated

Housing and homes for ex-orphanage boys

Education for children with special needs

A soup kitchen feeding 50 -100 people per day and much more...

 

Not one to suffer alone, I have 10 other people cycling with me (maybe more) who will be joining me in visiting some of the projects we support along the way.
