We are a group of friends who who are walking through London on the night of 17th September 2010, in order to raise money for Maggie's Cancer Centres. We will walk 10 miles past some of London 's most beautiful buildings and even stop in some for a look inside. Whilst not as gruelling as some challenges, it will involve sacrificing sleep.

We are raising money for Maggie's because some of us know from family experience that the service they provide is priceless. Support networks for those with cancer is vital in helping people prolong their lives and to live as normal a life as possible with the disease. Maggie's has centres on NHS sites and anyone can visit without an appointment for advice from qualified staff. Whether you need information on your treatment and disease, someone to lean on who knows what you are dealing with, or advice on practical matters such as where to get a realistic wig, Maggie's can help you. It costs £500,000 per annum to run a centre.
